I was not permitted to assign bugs to me.

I cannot take this responsibility myself.
My responsibility is FAPI, Hinter, some bugs and review of your patches.
Within my code review responsibility I issued a list of remarks to your
patch.
That's all that I can do now.
Even if the bug is assigned to me, I am not responsible for priorities.

Agree, but I am unhappy of the bug driven development,
which opens more bugs than we can close.
