PS files which depend on the OCF structure are usually generated
just for demand of "rearranged fonts". Since there are many printers
with CID fonts and without "OCF compatibility", currently many
applications support both CID and OCF. However, such support of CID
usually requires "rearranged fonts" of CID fonts. Therefore I believe
"OCF compatibility" is not so necessary provided that "rearranged font"
were implemented in Ghostscript.
