[Gs-devel] Any suggestions about over-inking with high resolution plotters?

As the resolution of devices increases, we have had problems with
over-inked output.  That is, the output from our device at 300 or
360 dpi on a given device looks good, but at 600 or 720 dpi the
output is too dark due to bleeding.  

In the long run, I understand that Ghostscript will have support 
for ICC Color Profiles that could be used, thus solving this problem.

For now, has anyone developed some good transfer functions that
we could experiment with to solve this problem?  Or, other ideas?
