[Gs-devel] Merging gs-cjk into gs

We, gs-cjk hackers would like to merge the gs-cjk M2-R2 patches to the
gs's official source tree.

We would like to apply the patches to GS_6_5 branch first. After
applying to GS_6_5 branch, we would like to try the HEAD.  After
applying the patches to GS_6_5 branch , could you release GNU gs-6.52?
Many Japanese might eager for the new release that contains our patch.

Please, add suzuki toshiya to gs's sf CVS commiters. He and I will
apply the patches to GS_6_5 branch after your review. The patches is
for gs6.51, therefore there might be a few work for applying but I'm a
bit busy now. Therefore I need toshiya's help.

The time when we apply the patches to HEAD comes, please, add also
Hideyuki Suzuki and Taiji Yamada to gs's sf CVS commiters.  (Taiji
Yamada has not been appear on any gs mailing lists.  gs-cjk project
leader. ) The font related code in HEAD might be changed therefore
much more work might be needed to apply the patches to HEAD.  Further
more, we want to improve CJK related code in gs more. Some of issued
are solved by M2-R2 patches, However there are more issues in the CJK
font handling. We want to join the gs developments itself and give
quick feedbacks to the gs users.

Read FILES in gs-cjk M2-R2. You might recognize that many of
the patches already are posted to gs-code-review and are applied to
the CVS repository. Patches(cjk-core patches) that are not posted yet 
are core parts of gs-cjk. And cjk-core patches are the patches that
I'd like to be reviewed in this time.

Please, review these patches.

One more. we would like to add CJK.htm to gs/doc documents. we have
not completed CJK.htm yet. But some of them are written. Read
README.en, comments of CIDFnmap and CJKTTCID.INF in gs-cjk M2-R2.
