Thank you to everyone for your patience. Because of some concerns Ray raised about the abruptness of the transition, we wanted to maintain the sourceforge cvs repository as a read-only mirror. I thought we had shell access to the files, but it turns out we can only modify the adminitrative directory.

Therefore, I'd like to postpone the move while I talk to the Sourceforge administrator. I'd still like to transition soon, so next weekend is the next target date. In the meantime, please do get your casper accounts set up, and if you want to play with the new repository (based on this weekend's snapshot) you can reach it under cvs-test.ghostscript.com (both http and cvs). I'll keep you posted on what we're planning.

As far as what else is going on, Jack is installing bugzilla at bugs.ghostscript.com (same machine). This is a bug tracking system written for the mozilla project that has some nice features over the one on sourceforge. We'll be moving to it when Jack has everything ready to go. Casper will also host the mailing lists and www.ghostscript.com (both currently on raph's dsl line) but that transition should be transparent to all uses.

Sorry for the confusion. We now return you to your regularly scheduled cvs service.
