Hi there
Thanks for that invitation. I'm very pleased because I feel that
/doc/New-user.html is an excellent place to make this kind of
tools visble / available.
As soon as I feel gsfontmap to be ready for the jungle or if I
need to quickly discuss a detail, I will contact you and Russel
rather than the big list, because after all gsfontmap is just
a small useful thingy and hardly deserves what the gs-devel
list offers.
The reason to post *this* to the list is to let everyone know
that suggestions / reasonable and related feature requests
are welcome (rmm AT cynexus.net).
It might, however, be worthwhile to announce major changes
through some kind of public forum, such as ghostscript.com
and freshmeat in order to keep (potential) gsfontmap users
informed.
For the time being I will use the "diary" feature of
ghostscript.com to make news / changes / ideas available
(or to discuss details) during gsfontmaps adolescence.
Have a nice weekend out there :-)
