Greetings,

First of all, apologies for the crossposting. I've done a lot of research
though, and you're all on the cc: list for a reason.

I represent the team maintaining HylaFAX, an enterprise-level fax
client/server system for UNIX platforms which has been freely available
since 1992 (http://www.hylafax.org). We're very interested in knowing if HP
has looked at offering any PCL manipulation tools to the linux community.
We'd love HylaFAX to support faxing PCL files natively, but there don't seem
to be any interpreters/converters that will read PCL in the open-source
world.

I figure that with HP's current view on Linux, it's surprising they don't
have an SDK for PCL writing/reading.

Does anyone have any advice, any pointers, or know anyone at HP who might be
able to comment on this?
