[gs-devel] 7.31 beta release pre-announcement

Hi all,

   Candidate tarballs of 7.31 are on the web here:

http://casper.ghostscript.com/~raph/ghostscript-7.31.tar.bz2

(and .gz if you're still in the compressional stone ages).

   The gv/gsview slowness viewing PDF's is still an issue. Happily,
the gv page navigation problems I was having turned out to be user
error (I had a stray patch in the /usr/local/share version of the
lib directory). Most other things _should_ work. Please give this
version a spin and let me know if there are any obvious errors.

   Ray Johnston will probably have the Windows build up before
breakfast tomorrow morning.
