[gs-devel] APFL Ghostscript 8.54rc1

Everyone,

I'm pleased to announce we're finally ready to release Ghostscript 8.54. 
A release candidate is available here:

Please give it a sanity check. Early next week we'll pull in any pull in 
any accumulted critical fixes and do an official release.

Note that I'm experimenting with doing the release from a branch this 
time, so those of you with write access can go ahead and commit as
normal. I will cherry pick just those changes we want in the release.
