[gs-devel] different font name shown in PDF viewer

I have a PS file that uses ArialUnicodeMS, a huge font with >50K
characters. The font is TrueType, and I convert it to Type 42 with
Eddie Kohler's ttftotype42. Ghostscript PDF Writer nicely makes a good
PDF from that, but the Properties > Fonts dialog in a PDF viewer (Adobe
or Foxit) shows only ArialMT, not ArialUnicodeMS. There is no ArialMT
in the file.
Any idea why the viewer doesn't report ArialUnicodeMS instead?
(FWIW, when I use Acrobat Distiller 9 to make the PDF. it flushes the
job with typecheck on show. Hooray for Ghostscript!)
