hi i'm building ghostscript trunk from cygwin/mingw32.
please see attachment for patches i applied.
latest i'm confirmed that this patch doesn't activate fapi (which is
freetype2) when using pdfwrite device. that is, it is using ancient
ttinterp.c in base directory.. (which is ugly behavior).
oh my god. this file is from 1998..(Copyright 1996-1998) about 10 years
older than the same file in latest freetype2 library.
so what i'm going to ask you is, where do i need to fix to elevate the
priority of fapi stuff
( it is compiled but ghostscript doesn't uses fapi...)
so that ghostscript fallbacks to fapi. not ancient ttflib or type42 stuff.
