[Gsview] Starting with gsview HOW?????

As a complete novice to GSview I have downloaded the Gsview program and
ghostscript and unzipped gsview. Now I am faced with a dilemma how on earth
do I start gsview. Among the unzipped folders I can finf no .exe or
application files. Ghostscript itself opens up a screen with just a prompt
labelled gs and nothing more.
Doubtless such interfaces are fine for experienced users but for a novice
who only wants to read postscript files they are a dead loss.
